1 Stamp 3 Ways, Yellow Card

This is the last card in the 1 stamp, 3 ways series. I started out intending to fill up the card, but when I had it stamped 3 times, I decided to leave the corner bare for a sentiment.

To help me figure out the placement, I actually stamped the flower on copy paper 4 times and loosely cut them out. Then I laid them on my card base and folded the edges in to see what I liked. I took a second card base to do the stamping on so the I could use the mock up to guide me.

I placed a sheet of acetate into my Misti. It fills it up and I only magnet the top down. Then I stamped my flower onto the acetate. I slid a card panel under the acetate until I got it lined up with the stamped flower. I stuck it down, removed the acetate and stamped the flower onto the card panel. I just put the acetate back in, moved the card panel around and repeated that twice more to the three stamped images.

I did some very basic colored pencil coloring and blended it out with Gamsol. It was a lot of flowers to color so I didn't use multiple shades of pencil.

Once I had all the flowers and leaves colored, I used a Cloud Blue colored pencil to go heavily around the image and blended that out until it faded away. I stamped a sentiment in the top right corner. Trimmed down the white panel to 4 1/8"x 5 3/8" and mounted that on yellow card stock. I then adhered the whole thing to a card base and added sequins for some sparkle.

Supplies used:
Prismacolor Pencils
Gamsol
