Be Yourself with Bernadette Girl

I love Angie Girls. I am building my collection. This lovely lady is called Bernadette girl and she is a joy to color.

I didn't have a plan for this lovely lady so I just let the card evolve on its own.

I colored her up using some warm grays and giving her a lovely pop of red.I will list the colors below. Then I took and edge die and cut down on one side. I followed that up with a stitched rectangle die to give the other edges some interest.

I made her a background using Distress Oxide Pumice Stone ink. I lightly blended a layer over the whole piece of white card stock and then I used a brick background stamp inked up in the same color to add another layer. This was cut down a tiny bit and mounted on a deep red A2 piece of card stock.

I stamped the sentiment in black, lightly blended the Pumice Stone ink over it and cut a banner edge on one side. This was matted with the same red card stock. Then it was just a matter of assembling all the layers and attaching them to a card base.
