Hello everyone. Friends of Unity are hopping again. This month is all about our favorite things.
I thought I would do two of my favorite things. The first is to stamp and color Unity Stamp Co flower stamps. And the second is to pretend I know how to watercolor. I stamped two of my favorite stamps and colored one of the images with my Copic markers and the other one with watercolors.
I stamped My Condolences for my cards. I love this flower image. For the sample above I used Prima Marketing Vintage Pastel watercolors. Below is the card I colored with my Copic markers.
For all four of the cards I used sentiments from Aging Gorgeously.
For the second set of cards I used Everything Joyful & Beautiful. This is a big, lovely image to color. The above card used the same Prima Marketing Vintage Pastel watercolors. The sample below was done with my Copic markers.
Be sure to follow along the blog hop and comment and show the love along the way. Thank you for stopping by.
Alaine-you are here
Alaine, You "pretend" to watercolor very well! I do like what you have done where you colored the same images with 2 different mediums and posted both. All four cards are beautiful!!!

ReplyDeleteThese flower stamps are so so pretty. No favorites between watercolor or copic, each has it's own beauty, but my favorites were the backgrounds on every one...well done
ReplyDeleteLove each card... thanks for sharing! I always look forward to your cards!
ReplyDeleteThese florals are just gorgeous and I adore the designs. I definitely prefer Copic markers and can identify with pretending to know how to use watercolours! Thanks for the sweet inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing both coloring techniques with the same stamp but have to say for me the watercolor wins every time! I particularly love your first watercolored flower!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful cards! I love the soft watercolors.
ReplyDeleteYou truly watercolor two cards beautifully. Believe it or not I actually don't have these two stamp sets LOL well at least not yet. Thanks for inspiring and adding more to my wishlist.

ReplyDeleteThose gorgeous blooms are the perfect antidote to these cold and dreary winter days...and to this stressful year. I love the look of watercoloring and hope to learn how to improve my own skills in 2021. Fingers crossed it works!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty and who would ever guess you don't watercolor, lol!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pink watercolored version the most!
ReplyDeleteAll are wonderful but the 2nd group are my favorites. Now I'm gonna have to buy this stamp!!!!
